Dawn Rotor is a rotation-puzzle-arcade with concentric ring mechanics that I have not seen done this well in browser games. Rotate concentric rings to align matching colour segments across all rings. One hundred levels across five tiers plus daily challenges.
What works is the multi-ring layer interaction. Each ring rotates independently. A single move on one ring shifts that ring without affecting others. Players develop intuition for which ring to rotate first to set up cascading clears.
One hundred levels with escalating ring counts and colour counts. Tier one has three rings with four colours. Tier five has six rings with nine colours. The complexity grows steadily across the campaign.
Tested across maybe twenty hours over six weeks. Tanimachi Line subway commutes plus several Tennoji Park weekend cafe afternoons. Touch tap-to-rotate is the natural input. Mouse-click works on desktop with similar feel.
Where the design earns its high rating is the daily-challenge implementation. Every day a fresh ring puzzle with a global leaderboard. Times and move counts compared. The competitive layer extends the format well beyond the campaign.
Where I would push back is the absence of a no-timer practice mode for daily puzzles. Casual players who want to attempt the daily without time pressure have no option.
